Sustainability Leadership Awards

Award Winners

The KU Center for Sustainability recognizes individuals and organizations with the Campus Sustainability Leadership Awards in April as part of Earth Month festivities. The awards highlight outstanding leadership and creativity in addressing issues of environmental, economic, and social responsibility on the KU campus and in the broader community. Individuals, programs, and projects can be nominated in the following categories, using our general criteria as a guide:

  • Energy Conservation
  • Faculty
  • Graduate/Undergraduate Student/Alumni
  • Department/Organization
  • Program/Project
  • Social Justice
  • Staff

Nominations for the 2017 Sustainability Leadership Awards are now being accepted. Awardees will be honored at an awards ceremony on Friday, April 21.

Do you know a sustainability leader? Submit a nomination form to sustainability@ku.edu by Noon on Monday, April 3.
