Making Sustainability Accessible: Curriculum Development for All

August 9-10, 2018
University of Kansas
Lawrence, KS

Join the University of Kansas and Johnson County Community College in our second year as an AASHE Center for Sustainability Across the Curriculum. Designed to help faculty from all disciplines make connections to sustainability within their curriculum, this two-day workshop will guide participants through group work, discussion, and learning lab exercises.

Together we will explore using themes of sense of place, social justice, and cooperative problem solving to bridge industry and sustainability to make sustainability concepts relatable to students entering any field. Participants will find helpful resources to inform design of one or more assignments, course modules or other classroom activities. It will be a fun and inspiring opportunity to workshop with colleagues from your own institutions, as well as share with and learn from those at peer institutions in the region.

Register here by Monday, August 7

Please contact the workshop organizers with any questions you may have.
